Passage is an original Charcoal and Graphite drawing on heavyweight, acid-free paper.  The drawing was begun with powdered charcoal and soft charcoal pencils, and developed with many layers of charcoal, then graphite pencils, working from soft through hard grades as detail, surfaces and tones were refined.  Passage was featured in the November 2006 issue of American Art Collector magazine.
